About

Cellblock Syndicate seal

The Syndicate Desk

Gang Intelligence Unit · South Carolina

The Cellblock Syndicate is written from inside the fence. It tracks Security Threat Groups with a stake in South Carolina: street gangs and their sets, prison lineups, outlaw motorcycle clubs, supremacist organizations and the policy and task forces that answer them.

Method

Every claim in the register traces to a public source: court records, DOJ and U.S. Attorney releases, agency web pages, academic work and established news reporting. Public sources only: no criminal justice information from any agency system and no non-public agency records. Rows that cannot be anchored to a public document do not enter the register.

Each source carries a grade, shown on every citation chip:

  • AGrade A: court record, DOJ, attorney general or solicitor
  • BGrade B: law-enforcement release or federal assessment
  • CGrade C: established news outlet
  • DGrade D: club site, social media or aggregator (lead only)

What the register covers

  • STG Directory — one profile per group, with named sets, identifiers, county footprint and open questions.
  • The Wire — a running sweep of public reporting, tagged by group, county and category.
  • Timeline — the chronology of the record, from foundations to current prosecutions.
  • County Map — confirmed rows per county, graded by weight of reporting.
  • Posts — longer profiles, history and analysis, plus the Daily Intel Digest.
  • Source Register — every citation in the dossier, with its grade and use count.

Access

The dossier is built for officers, analysts and researchers. If your work needs a verified account or you have a correction grounded in a public document, use the access request.
